Introducing the VBMag Magnetic Bearing Isolator
Superior Sealing in Challenging Lubrication Environments
Inpro/Seal, the inventor of the Bearing Isolator, continues its legacy of developing innovative, reliable sealing products to prevent bearing failure with the introduction of a new magnetic bearing isolator: VBMag. Utilizing magnetically energized faces to create a liquid-tight seal, the VBMag Bearing Isolator is proven to protect against lubrication loss and contamination ingress in challenging applications, such as flooded, high oil splash, or oil mist lubrication environments. With the VBMag Bearing Isolator, there is zero shaft wear, making it the superior choice for applications that historically used elastomeric lip seals which can wear quickly at the point of contact, and damage the shaft. The VBMag Bearing Isolator delivers long-term performance and reduces the need for unscheduled downtime and maintenance costs.
“The VBMag Bearing Isolator combines decades of knowledge and engineering expertise to deliver a reliable, long-lasting, leak-free seal for a variety of challenging applications,” said Chris Solfelt, Product Manager. “The addition of VBMag expands Inpro/Seal’s product portfolio, allowing us to better support our customers with the best bearing protection solution for any application.”
VBMag Bearing Isolators are IP66 rated to meet high industry standards for bearing protection. Precision-lapped faces energized by rare earth magnets create a liquid-tight seal suitable for a wide variety of applications. The innovative design allows the maximum amount of lubrication to reach the faces, which provides optimum conditions for a long sealing life.
Inpro/Seal’s team of engineers can help specify the best size and configuration for your application, and our production team is able to respond quickly to emergency shutdown situations and meet fast turnaround requirements.
